Hi, I'm Sarah, and the one constant in my life is that I'm never not creating.

I've worked in publishing for over 15 years, starting out as fashion editor with a local lifestyle publication while still at university, working my way up to leading the editorial team as Head of Content at Malta's leading publishing house. In tandem, I channelled the rest of my creative energy into founding The Secret Rose, a luxury custom embroidery brand that transforms personal narratives into handcrafted heirlooms.

Today, I offer freelance writing and editing, styling, casting and creative direction, as well as custom embroidery services through The Secret Rose. I specialise in crafting compelling narratives, developing high-quality content, and creating bespoke pieces for discerning clients. I'm passionate about bringing creative visions to life, whether it's through words, visuals, or textile art.
